PHILOSOPHY

EvilTone was founded in 2016 by former DOD/Digitech engineer, Jason Lamb, and audio engineer Zach Griffen.  It all started with one idea....  Create the best gear we can, and get it in to the hands of the players who want it.

TapEcho

This is the EvilTone TapEcho, 600ms analog delay with tap tempo and modulation. The TapEcho can give you anything from a classic short slap echo up to a feedback drenched swirl of sonic cacophony. In addition to a beautiful sounding analog delay, the TapEcho features modulation controls right on top. SuperMoserDriver

The SuperMoserDriver is a wonderful all-discrete class A MOSFET overdrive-distortion.  The SuperMoserDriver starts where the original MoserDriver leaves off, and adds an extra gain stage to the front!  The SuperMoserDriver features a proprietary asymmetrical overdrive circuit, a pre-amp gain stage, and a classic American 2 band EQ, resulting in a very touch sensitive feel and a large amount of tone shaping options.  The SuperMoserDriver has plenty of output volume on tap to push the front end of your amp in to sonic nirvana.  Plug in to the SuperMoserDriver and get your rock on!

PeopleEater

The PeopleEater was EvilTone's very first design.  The PeopleEater is a unique booster that stays clean through most of its range, then begins to overdrive just a little bit near the top.  This is very similar to the way in which a tube would break up, and creates a very natural sound, rich in second order harmonics.  The PeopleEater is great at giving just a bit of boost, or for driving your tube amp into overdrive nirvana.

PeopleEater mini

This is the EvilTone PeopleEater mini, a smaller and more pedalboard-friendly version of the Original PeopleEater.  The PeopleEater mini can give you everything from a mild clean boost, all the way up to driving your amp's input stage in to saturation.  The PeopleEater mini is also great for driving your overdrive or distortion pedals harder, for increased sustain.

PI

This is the EvilTone PI, a modern recreation of a classic fuzz from the 70's.  The PI is modeled after the classic EH Big Muff Violet Ram's Head, Version 2.  While this may be a recreation of an old circuit, the components and build quality are modern, resulting in an amazing sounding and reliable version of an old classic.  Get yours today!

AmpEater

The AmpEater was designed with one thing in mind.  To turn your clean amp into a high gain monster.  There is no need to haul around two amps anymore.  Just plug the AmpEater in front of your clean amp, and you are ready to go.  The AmpEater was modeled after classic British amps from the 70's, and features an all-discrete JFET signal path.  The 3-band EQ allows you to achieve a wide variety of tones, from 80's scooped mids. to mid-forward lead tones.  Plug in to the AmpEater and watch the metal fly.

Buffer

Anyone who uses long cables, or a lot of true-bypass pedals, knows about tone suck.  Tone suck is the result of lots of capacitance in your cables, pedals, and jacks sucking the high end out of your tone.  The EvilTone Buffer was designed to fix this.  When used at the beginning of your effects chain, the Buffer correctly loads your guitar pickups, and amplifies the current of the signal, allowing a higher fidelity signal through your effects chain.  When used at the end of your effects, the Buffer allows you to use long cables to get back your amp, without the annoying high end loss.  The EvilTone buffer uses an 18 volt rail internally, so not even the hottest active pickups will distort it.  Clean up your signal now with the EvilTone Buffer.

nubby

This is the EvilTone nubby compression pedal. The nubby is a compact compression pedal with only a single volume control. The EvilTone nubby was originally designed with the pedal and lap steel player in mind, but it is also incredibly useful for electric guitar players to smooth out their sound, or add some funk! The amount of compression in the nubby is fixed. So, to control the amount of compression, simply adjust the volume control on your guitar.
